The Salvinelli cutlery company is a story of development and progress, but above all it is a story of experiences handed down over the generations, starting with two brothers who had the desire to work together as a common dream.
Its founders, the brothers Costanzo and Faustino Salvinelli, in 1964, created a small mechanic in their garage and with the necessary tools of the trade, after work, they began to build cutlery molds on behalf of local industries.
The company began to get noticed for its quality in work and decided not only to build molds, but also to start the production of cutlery for third parties. In the 1970s they built a shed next to the garage that still houses the company’s mechanical department. Up to now, however, some work tools have been guarded and preserved as a symbol of the devoted commitment of their founders.
Over time, the company abandoned the production of molds for external factories and devoted itself exclusively to its own development. In the 1980’s the company changed its name to “Salvinelli srl”, but the “Salvinelli Brothers” continued to work on it, transferring their experience to their sons Amelio and Donato Salvinelli. The passion for craftsmanship and jealously guarded experience can be found in the shapes of the molds, considered real sculptures of mastery.
The new generations focused their study on the styles of the table, textures and finishes on the cutlery, bringing innovations always in step with time.
In the early 2000’s Salvinelli felt the need to meet customer needs even more by offering furnishing accessories for the table and the kitchen. Here began to enter the world of imports, but only to integrate the choice of kitchen accessories that cannot be produced internally such as crockery, colander, trays, etc. .. all always rigorously in stainless steel.
The import range expands, from kitchen utensils, to bar and barbecue items; even the table furnishing sector is not left out looking for decorative and functional objects.
The leap in quality has now begun, in the production department the machines are replaced with numerically controlled machines served by robots, the sales nate has enlarged and Salvinelli become a leader in its sector.
